New Ringgold man facing drug count

A New Ringgold man is facing a drug charge.

State police at Frackville said troopers were called to the area of East Railroad Street in New Ringgold, on Wednesday evening, March 28, for a report of a man removing items from a dumpster owned by the Reading Railroad in the area of the railroad tracks.

At about 7:30 p.m. troopers located a man fitting the description of the suspect at 34 Hughes St.

He was identified as Harry Joseph Zaprazny, 42. He was found to have in his possession a small amount of marijuana. The investigation will continue into the items removed from the dumpster by the Reading Railroad Police Department, Port Clinton, troopers said.

Troopers said they will charge Zaprazny with possession of a small amount of marijuana.
