Guns stolen in Monroe break-in

Guns were reported stolen in a Monroe County burglary. The break-in and a theft incidents were investigated by state police at Lehighton.

Troopers said the residence of Joseph Patrick Mchsane, of 4589 Sherwood Drive, Robinhood Lakes, Kunkletown, Polk Township, was discovered entered. Entry occurred sometime between Monday, March 26, at 11 a.m. and Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Removed from the home was 30/6 Springfield rifle, a 50/Cal Flint Lock Hawkin, an Ithaca 12-gauge shotgun, and a 22-caliber rifle, with no serial numbers. Also taken was a 42-inch Sylvania flat screen television.

Vicky Lee Sestok, 44, of 1180 Hickory Rd., Towamensing Township, Carbon County, reported a pair of earrings, a ring, and an Ipod were removed from her home. The theft occurred sometime between March 23 at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, at 10:30 a.m.
