Father, daughter injured in four-wheeler accident

Two persons were injured Sunday afternoon, a father and daughter, when involved in a four wheeler accident in a remote area of Nesquehoning. The mishap occurred at 2:30 p.m. when it was reported the daughter was operating the four wheeler when the accident occurred. Reports from the scene were the female operator went over the handle bars of the unit. The accident was north of SR54 in a very remote mountainous area. The two victims were treated at the scene by members of the Nesquehoning ambulance and Lehighton paramedics. At least one and possibly the two were transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital Trauma Center in Allentown. Hauto Fire Company responded. Nesquehoning police are investigating the incident
