Donald Miller, of McAdoo, was injured around 1 p.m. Tuesday when he crashed his white 2005 Hyundai into the back of a tractor trailer driven by Randall Kyle, of Reading. The incident occurred north of the Mile Hill (SR309), near the entrance to a power plant in Kline Township. Reportedly, after witnessing a tractor trailer knock down power lines on a street in McAdoo, Miller followed the rig south on SR309 into Kline Township while he called police to report it. That is when he collided with the back of the rig. Miller was taken to Hazleton General Hospital. Responding were McAdoo firefighters, and Hazleton and McAdoo ambulances. Responding in addition to township police, were state police and Rush Township police. Police Chief John Petrilla is the investigating officer.
