ACS Chinese Auction set to help telethon

Event coordinators Jessica Kutza, left, and her mother, Mary Ann Dulaney, both of Coaldale, stand next to of some of the many ACS Chinese Auction prizes for their 13th Annual Chinese Auction and fundraising event to be held Sunday March 25 at the Lakeside Ballroom in Barnesville, Rt. 54. Doors open at noon and the auction drawing starts at 3 p.m. More than 500 items will be available. There are many new types of prizes this year, such as NASCAR Sprint Cup Tickets, Dell laptop, fuel oil, artwork, Apply IPad2, Sony Reader, gas gift card, XBox 360, vacation packages, chainsaw, muzzleloader, 32 inch HD television, microwave oven, $1,000 cash prize and much more. There will also be 50-50 drawings, refereshments and a bake sale. Donations are still being accepted. This auction routinely raises thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society.
