Published March 09. 2012 05:01PM

Ryan Christopher Bush, 27, an inmate at the State Correctional Institute, West Mahanoy Township, has been arrested by state police at the Frackville barracks in connection with an incident whereby he attempted to have drugs brought into the facility.

Police said he is charged with one count of criminal solicitation and two counts of criminal conspiracy.

The incidents happened at various times between Jan. 5 and Feb. 4 of this year. Police said the arrest is a result of an investigation in which police learned Bush committed the conspiracies during telephone conversations in which he wanted the drugs brought into the jail.
