Lt. David Midas of the Carbon County Sheriff's Office spoke to members of the Nesquehoning Woman's Club at their March meeting. His informative presentation on Senior Security was well received. Midas is a DARE instructor as well as a police officer. He offers community programs to local organizations. With Lt. Midas are Jean Mikovich, left, chairwoman of the hospitality committee; and Madeline Ligenza, right, program chairwoman. The club will enjoy a dinner at the home of member Nan Kevilly on April 2. Members need to contact Kevilly and let her know which entrée they chose.
