Amber Elizabeth Walck, daughter of Rod and Cheryl Walck of Lehighton, and Steven Kocher, son of Larry and Gail Kocher, also of Lehighton, were united in marriage at sunset Nov. 5, 2011 at Sun Bay, Vieques, Puerto Rico.

The Rev. Mayra Gomez Soto officiated the double ring ceremony. Music was provided by a three-man mariachi band.Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister, Jamie Neary of Conshohocken as matron of honor. Nicole Behler of Glenmoore was a bridesmaid.Michael Venarchick, Allentown, and Matthew Blanco of Boston, Mass. were best men.Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Hacienda Tamarindo in Vieques. The couple honeymooned in Vieques.A bridal shower was held in September at the Mahoning Valley Country Club, hosted by the bridesmaids and mothers of the bride and groom.The bride is a graduate of Lehighton Area High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in art education from Penn State University. She is a lead representative for CustomInk.The bridegroom is a graduate of Lehighton Area High School. He earned a bachelor of science in integrative arts from Penn State University. He is a sales/service manager for CustomInk.The newlyweds currently reside in Fairfax, Va.
