State police at Frackville are investigating an incident involving a gunshot in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said the incident occurred about 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, March 4. Troopers said Matthew Thomas Motta, 46, of Clifton Heights, Delaware County, was shooting a .50-caliber semiautomatic weapon at a range off the Burma Road, in Blythe Township, when a round ricocheted off an unknown object and struck the home of Albert Robert Karlonis, 51, of 187 Kimber St., New Philadelphia.No one was reported injured. Troopers said the investigation is continuing as a recklessly endangering incident.
