Lehigh Township crash injures woman

A woman was seriously injured Thursday morning when she lost control of her Chevrolet Tahoe and struck two trees in Lehigh Township. The crash occurred as the victim was traveling east on Lehigh Drive (SR248) just east of Locust Drive when she lost control. Her SUV left the right berm sliding broadside into the trees. Reports from the communications center was the victim had been ejected from the vehicle. She was transported by ambulance to St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill. The Lehigh Township Fire Company responded to the scene. Lehigh Township police are investigating the incident.
