Phoenix blood drive slated for April 2

PHOENIX Rehabilitation and Health Services, Inc. 1022 Blakeslee Blvd. Dr. E., Lehighton, will be hosting a community blood drive in conjunction with the Miller-Keystone Blood Center from noon to 3 p.m. Monday, April 2. All eligible community members are asked to consider donating with the goal of keeping the area's blood supply at an optimum level.

The Miller-Keystone Blood Center's donating region covers Lehigh, Northampton, Upper Bucks, Montgomery, Warren, Berks, Carbon and Schuylkill counties. To be eligible to give blood, donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be in general good health. A valid photo ID is required.
