Salamander program at Locust Lake

Locust Lake State Park naturalist Robin Tracey will lead a Salamander program at the park at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 30. She will discuss salamander anatomy, habitat, and role in the ecosystem. A field identification capture and release walk will follow. The event is free and open to the public.

Participants are asked to meet at the amphitheater at the park and bring a plastic container for animal collection.

For more information, call Tracey at (570) 467-2506 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The event will be held in nice weather only.
