CSIDC donates to Lansford Historical Society

Members of the Carbon-Schuylkill Industrial Development Corporation recently made a donation to the Lansford Historical Society to help cover its costs with a heating system, display cases and other operational costs associated with hosting the society. Members of the Lansford Historical Society are currently working to organize the memorabila that has been donated by borough residents and businesses. Accepting the donation for the society is Bill Harleman, president of the Lansford Historical Society, center. Members of the CSIDC presenting the check are, from left, Richard E. Forgay, executive director; Bob Silver, member; Peter Radocha Jr., president; and William Gardiner, member. The Lansford Historical Society is located on the second floor of the former United Methodist Church, 117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford.
