Benefit held for Bob "Farmer" Jones

Friends and family organized a benefit for Bo "Farmer" Jones recently at the East End Fire Company in Tamaqua. Jones was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in February and will go in for surgery very soon. The event consisted of a spaghetti dinner and band entertainment by Homespun, Del and Jay and DJ Born. key volunteers Anne Kachelries and Michelle Ohl stated their appreciation to the East End Fire Company, bands, friends and contributors of the benefit. Volunteers also stated they will be holding a dart tournament to benefit Jones in late July. Organizers expressed additional appreciation to Lisa Zehner, Donette Miller, Lolly Davies, Brittany Davies, Tyler Davies, Buddy "Boog" Bogosh, Scott Neff and others.
