Woman caught with contraband

A Summit Hill woman has been charged with contraband-bringing controlled substances into the county prison in Nesquehoning.

On April 17 Officer Brian White of the borough police was called to the county jail. An inmate at the prison, Judith Karin Sabol, 33, of 113 S. Oak St., was found to have illegal substances in her possession. White was told Sabol had the illegal substances mixed in with her other medication. It was learned the pills found in her posssession was a generic brand for xanax.

As a result of an investigation Sabol was charged with contraband, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
