Published June 25. 2012 05:03PM

A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a one vehicle crash that occurred about 9:57 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, along Mountain Road, near Spruce Drive, in Pine Grove Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Rebecca Kroh, 32, of Pine Grove, was driving a 1999 Chrysler LHS westbound and after negotiating a right curve she took her eyes off the road. The vehicle went into the eastbound lane at which point Kroh realized she was traveling in the wrong lane. She turned to the right, traveled across the westbound lane and onto the berm where the vehicle impacted with a tree.

Troopers said Kroh was taken by ambulance to the Pine Grove High School where Medevac helicopter landed and flew her to the Hershey Medical Center for treatment.

Troopers said they suspected Keoh was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. A blood test was administered and the DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers added.
