No injuries in Schuylkill crash

A driver escaped injury in a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 8:07 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, along Interstate 81 in Delano Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Amy A. Klinger, 34, of Palmyra, Lebanon County, was northbound in the left lane when her 2008 Toyota 4Runner went onto the shoulder causing her to lose control.

The vehicle skidded across both lanes and onto the right berm where it struck the guide rail.

The vehicle slid along the guide rail knocking down several I-beam posts.

The vehicle came to rest on the left shoulder.

Klinger was not injured. She was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
