Two facing bad check counts

Two Monroe County men are facing bad check counts.

State police at Fern Ridge said RJ Walker, SR209, in Chestnuthill Township, reported that Paul Rueda, of Kresgeville, purchased items in the store totaling $1,247.32 and paid with a check. The check was later returned for insufficient funds. The incident occurred on April 17.

The second incident also occurred at RJ Walker. Michael F. Reilly, of Effort, paid for merchandise totaling $152.18 with a check that was later returned for insufficient funds. That incident occurred on Feb. 24.
