LAMS students recognized at annual Academic Awards program
Lehighton Area Middle School held its annual Academic Awards program on May 31.
The following awards were presented, American Legion Auxiliary, Cammi Nalesnik; an Award, Jacob Hoffner; Senator David G. Argall Good Citizenship Award, Jenna Beck and Andrea Schafer; Franklin Township Lions Award, Caleb Carpenter and Andrea Schafer; Joseph M. Rakos Memorial Award, Cammi Nalesnik.

The program ended with a Movie Maker Presentation created by Jessica Salina, Samantha Schanowolf and Cassidy Clark, followed by a Moving Up Ceremony of the seventh and eighth grade class.
