Break-ins probed

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating two burglaries recently.

Troopers said the residence at 1-45 Rocky Mountain Drive North, a tenth of a mile east of SR115, in Chestnuthill Township, was entered sometime between April 21 and Saturday, June 2. A microwave was removed from the home and the criminals attempted to remove a conventional oven. The property is owned by James William Cannon, 51, of Levittown, N.Y.

The second entry occurred at a residence along Westbrook Drive, in the Sun Valley development, in Chestnuthill Township. Entry was made sometime between May 28 and Monday, June 11. Removed from the home was about 400 feet of copper piping. The home is owned by Henry Flores, 63, of Bethlehem.
