State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a four-vehicle, rear-end type crash about 2:35 p.m. on June 7 at the intersection of SR115 and Glendale Drive, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Tammy S. Keahey, 43, of Sciota, driving a 1993 Mercury Villager, was stopped on Glendale Road waiting for traffic on 115 to go north while Patrick Oshea, 46, of Sciota, in a 2013 Ford Edge, was stopped on 115 northbound waiting to make a left onto Glendale. Troopers said Mark A. McLean, 56, of Nazareth, driving a 2000 Toyota Camry, was slowing down behind Oshea.

Troopers said John W. Greenemeier, 28, of Columbia, N.J., driving a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta, failed to stop while northbound on 115 and struck the rear of the Camry pushing it into the rear of the Ford. After impact the Camry continued north, crossed over the center line and struck the Mercury, stopped on Glendale.

Greenemeier and McLean sustained minor injuries and were taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, by West End ambulance. No one else was reported injured.

Troopers cited Greenemeier for following too closely.

Troopers also investigated a crash about 6:46 a.m. on June 8 along Sawdust Lane, in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said Suzanne Dekleine, 34, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Impala eastbound when a deer entered the road in front of her. She avoided the deer but her car struck a utility pole along the berm.

Dekleine was not injured.
