Tamaqua man facing charges

Tamaqua police have identified a suspect in a weekend burglary at the ABC Tamaqua High Rise.

Police were dispatched to the apartment complex on Sunday after one of the tenants realized someone had pried open her door and removed cash and jewelry from her bedroom. The items, and damage to the door and frame, was estimated at $4,350.

After reviewing surveillance footage the suspect was identified as Keith Neff, 29, of 119 Pine St., Tamaqua. Neff faces felony charges of burglary and criminal trespass, as well as misdemeanor counts of theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief. A warrant has been requested for his arrest.
