Theft of dirt bike probed in Schuylkill

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of a dirt bike along with a burglary, both occurring at Schuylkill County locations.

Troopers said Brett Jared Hornberger, of 177 Railroad St., Cressona, reported his 1998 Kawasaki KX 250 bike, green and black in color, was stolen from under a house deck at 191 Railroad St. The theft occurred sometime between May 27 and June 3.

Troopers are investigating a break-in that occurred at Immaculate Conception Catering, located at 1 E. Caroline Ave., Saint Clair, East Norwegian Township. Unknown criminals broke a door to gain entry. Once inside they broke several locks of freezers in the building. After damaging the locks the criminals fled the scene.

The incident occurred sometime between 3:30 p.m. on May 28 and 9:30 a.m. on May 29.
