Schuylkill woman facing charges

A Schuylkill County woman is facing charges after she was found operating a stolen vehicle.

State police at Frackville said Angela Kohl, 23, of Shenandoah, was stopped about 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, along SR61 southbound, south of the Schuylkill Mall, for operating a vehicle without the headlights on.

At the stop it was learned the 1990 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight she was driving was reported stolen out of Laureldale, Berks County. The vehicle is the property of Brock Thompson, 25, of Shillington.

Kohl was taken into custody and charged with receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of an automobile, and driving while license is suspended.
