Earns master's degree

Jody Searfoss, daughter of Pat and Jean Searfoss of Weatherly, received a master's degree in Forensic Science from Arcadia University, Glenside. Commencement exercises were held May 17. During her graduate education, she was employed, part time, at NMS Labs in Willow Grove.

The former Marian Catholic standout athlete completed her undergraduate studies at Holy Family University, Philadelphia, in 2010, earning a softball athletic scholarship.

The granddaughter of the late John and Mary Timko and "Tiny" and Muriel Searfoss has accepted a position with Aegis Scientific Labs in Nashville, Tenn. The Aegis Sciences Corporation is described as the largest independent sports, forensic and clinical toxicology laboratory in the United States.
