Tamaqua woman cited for theft

A Tamaqua woman has been cited following an incident at the Turkey Hill Minute Market in the borough on May 27.

Officers were dispatched to the convenience store, .at 433 E. Broad St., at 11:50 p.m. for a reported retail theft. The suspect was identified as Dorothy Lois Molion, 40, of 27 Center St. Molion reportedly removed a package of Oreo cookies from the shelf and placed them in her pocket. The item was valued at $.99

She was cited for retail theft.
