Perry Shelton honored in SH

The Anthracite Little League, Summit Hill and Nesquehoning, honored longtime Little League member Perry Shelton during its Memorial Day weekend ceremonies held at the Philip Melley Memorial Field, Summit Hill. Shelton, left, who served the Summit Hill Little League for nearly 45 years as a coach, manager, umpire and officer, received a plaque from league president Roobhen Smith. A former league president, Shelton currently serves on the league's board of governors.
