Maple Shade Meadows holds Memorial Day Services

Residents of the Maple Shade Meadows Senior Living Center held Memorial Day services on Tuesday. Representatives from American Legion Post 304 and VFW Post 294 were present to conduct the program. Angela Marie Nardini lead the residents in singing the national anthem and "God Bless America" and Bill Diehm of the Post 304 played "Taps." Standing from left are, Diehm; Francis O'Donnell also of Post 304; Maple Shade Meadows resident and Korean War veteran of the 1st Marine Brigade, Randy Rabenold; Leroy Strohl of Post 304 and keynote speaker; Bill Balazovich, Maple Shade resident and World War II veteran; Gil Henry, chaplain of American Legion Post 304 and VFW Post 294; Nardini; and Henry Desrosiers, director of Veterans Affairs for Carbon County.
