Lehigh burglaries are investigated

State police at the Fogelsville barracks are investigating two burglaries that happened in recent weeks.

The one took place between 7 a.m. July 2 and 3 p.m. July 12 in Lower Macungie Township.

The victim is Megan Mary McLaughlin, 43, of Macungie.

Police said someone entered her residence in the 3700 block of Knight Drive and removed two LED television sets, a Wii game console with associated components and four games and approximately $5,000 worth of jewelry.

The other burglary was reported at 3:20 a.m. June 26 at a building shared by Attractions Hair Salon and Rita's Italian Ice along Hamilton Boulevard in the township.

Police said someone forced their way into the building and removed an AT&T cordless telephone.
