Pocono Mountain Regional Police apprehended Ehabb Elsayed, 26, of Effort, on July 19 at 9:55 p.m., arresting him with several charges, and also learning he is wanted on an outstanding warrant issued in Carbon County.

Police said they stopped a vehicle Elsayed was driving in Pocono Farms East because the vehicle had an illegal license plate on it. Police said the man proceeded to provide a false name to them and the further investigation revealed the vehicle he was driving was stolen in Monroe County. Police also found drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.He was charged with receiving stolen property, providing false identification to law enforcement officers and possession of drug paraphernalia.
