State Rep. Doyle Heffley and the Carbon County commissioners will take part in a town meeting at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Heritage Hill Senior Community, 800 Sixth St., Weatherly.

The meeting will discuss the impact the recent budget decisions have on the community, is there any new development planned for the county, types of programs available to seniors and more. It will also give participants the opportunity to ask questions and get information from local elected officials.Registration for the event is required.
