Tamaqua Blue stayed undefeated (6-0) in the 9 & 10 Panther Valley Tournament with a 5-1 win over Jim Thorpe Blue. Tamaqua Blue plays its last game on Friday night at 6 p.m. at Lansford where with a win it can wrap up the 9 & 10 year old PV Tournament Title.

Byers had five RBIs while Rehrig and Pascoe knocked in three runs each. Farber added a home run.Anthracite-HazletonAnthracite picked up an 8-3 victory over Hazleton in the West Hazleton 7-8 year-old Little League Tournament.Matt Maholick had a nice day on the mound and at the plate to lead Anthracite. Maholick went the distance to pick up the victory, striking out four. He also added two hits and drove in a run.Eddie Farber added a single and two RBIs for Anthracite while Michael Pascoe, Jonathan Byers, Eddie Evans and Kyle Binder all had RBI singles.
