A New York driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following a traffic stop at 12:22 a.m. March 25 along Route 903 at Jonathan's Point Drive, in Kidder Township, Carbon County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Andrew Alexander Rodriguez, 22, of Brentwood, was stopped for operating his vehicle in an unsafe manner. At the stop Rodriguez displayed signs of being under the influence of alcohol. He was placed under arrest and taken to the barracks for a breath test. Charges were filed, troopers added.
