Suspicious activity reported in Thorpe

Jim Thorpe police are alerting residents of suspicious activity that has recently taken place in the Leisureland area of the borough.

Police said there have been reports of individuals calling residents and asking specific questions in regard to vehicles that may or may not be owned by the homeowners. It is believed that these individuals may be attempting to ascertain times when residents are home or away.

Police urge all residents to refrain from giving out any personal information in regard to their identity or personal belongings. Also, police urge residents to report any suspicious vehicles or activity immediately.
