Five more arraigned on criminal counts

Five additional defendants were arraigned on criminal charges Monday before District Attorney Karen Byrnes Noon in Schuylkill County court and all entered pleas of not guilty and requested jury trail. They were:

Timothy Russell Steward Jr., 39, of 151 William St., Barnesville, charged by Trooper Melissa Kane with three counts each of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with persons under age 16, two counts indecent assault, and one count each of unlawful contact or communication with minor, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors and indecent exposure various times in Delano Township.

Lee Anthony Dubois, 33, Tower City, charged by Trooper John Sleboda last Feb. 24 with aggravated assault on Krystal Schantz with a kitchen butcher knife, terroristic threats, endangering welfare of a child by committing the act in presence of a two year old, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest, fleeing police, and harassment.

Randall R. Lenker, 43, Pine Grove, charged by Pine Grove Cpl. Christopher Cruz, on various dates in October and November 2011, six counts each of corruption of minors and sale of tobacco, and five counts of selling or furnishing alcohol beverages to minors.

Christopher Michael Romberger, 23, Tower City, charged by Trooper John Sleboda with conduct relating to sex offenders, unlawful contact or communication with minor, indecent exposure, corruption of minors, open lewdness; and two counts of indecent assault on two females ages 14 years.

Mark Andrew Leib,19, Schuylkill Haven, charged by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman William J. Horn, last April 20 with three counts of corruption of minors and one count each of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
