Arrests reported

State police at Lehighton reported on the following arrests made by troopers.

Troopers said about 7:35 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, they responded to 141 Elsie Lane, in Gilbert, Polk Township, Monroe County, for a reported dispute.

Troopers said Lucas Heller, 21, Gilbert, Larry Wescot Jr., 47, and Teresa Heller-Wescott, 48, both of Effort, were involved in a dispute at the above location. During the dispute Lucas Heller grabbed Teresa Heller-Wescott by her arm and pushed her into a door. He then spit on Larry Wescott Jr. and tried to punch him. Larry Wescott Jr. then punched Lucas Heller in the face, troopers said.

Troopers said Lucas Heller and Larry Wescot will both be charged with harassment.

On Jan. 21 about 9:19 p.m. troopers received information of a lost hiker on the Appalachian Trail near the Blue Mountain Ski Area in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County. Troopers said Stephen Timothy Meleschuk, 53, of Whitehall, was found on the trail and with the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his person. He was rescued from the trail. Troopers said he will be charged with public drunkenness.

Troopers are investigating an incident that occurred along SR903 near Church Road, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, on Jan. 26 about 9 p.m. Troopers said Lewis Davis, 47, of Lansford, allegedly struck Christopher Gulliksen, 42, of Blakeslee, after a rear-end collision occurred at the above stated location.

Davis was charged with harassment.
