Bethlehem woman hurt in Lynn crash

Mary Alice M. Maguire, 26, of Bethlehem, was injured in a one-vehicle crash Jan. 25 at 2:32 a.m. on Route 143 in Lynn Township, according to state police at the Fogelsville barracks.

Police said she sustained moderate injuries and was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, in the Northwestern Ambulance after the accident.

Police said she was driving a 2010 Jeep Patriot north on the route (King's Highway) when it exited the road and struck a drainage ditch on the left side of the road. The vehicle began rotating counter-clockwise and rolled over approximately five times, coming to rest in the southbound lane.

Police said the vehicle was towed from the scene by Soley's Garage. the Germansville, Lynn and Lynnville fire departments also assisted at the scene.

Police said Maguire will be charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving and driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.
