State College man injured in I-80 crash
Jeffrey A. Hayes, 47, of State College, was injured in a one-car crash Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. on Interstate 80 in Kidder Township, according to state police at the Fern Ridge barracks.
Police said he suffered moderate injuries and was transporter to the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, for treatment.
Police said he was driving a 2008 Mazda MX5 eastbound on the interstate when he lost control of the vehicle on the ice-covered overpass. The car slid into the south berm, striking a milepost sign and a ditch, causing it to flip end-over-end, coming to rest on the south berm facing north.
