Shenandoah man committed to jail

Dillon P. Fogarty, 19, of Shenandoah, has been committed to the Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville, on charges relating to a shooting incident that happened between 9:50-11:30 p.m. Jan. 16 in Ryan Township.

State police at the Frackville barracks said he was arraigned before District Justice Carol Pankake and committed to jail in lieu of $35,000 straight bail.

Fogarty is charged with persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms; discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure; firearms not to be carried without a license; and recklessly endangering another person. The first three charges are felony counts while the recklessly endangering count is a misdemeanor-2 offense.

Police said the victim is Christopher A. Jadosh, 36, of Barnesville.

Police said he reported two shots were fired into his residence at 221 Church St., Ryan Township. The shots struck the interior living room wall, near where Jadosh was seated, police said.
