State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a two vehicle crash about 11:25 a.m. on Sunday, April 25, at the intersection of SR183 and SR895, in Summit Station, Wayne Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Dineshbhai Patel, 54, of Pottsville, was driving a 2009 Honda Oddysey minivan eastbound on 895 and Sallyann Burke, 41, of Wilkes-Barre, was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer southbound on 183. Troopers said at the intersection Patel pulled out from a stop sign into the path of Burke. Burke attempted to avoid a collision by steering to the open lane but could not.Burke complained of chest pain and was treated at the scene by Pottsville/Schuylkill Haven ambulance personnel. Patel and his four passengers and Burke's passenger, Charles Burke, 49, same address, were all not injured.
