The three Panther Valley police chiefs are not in agreement to the idea of a regional consolidated police force proposal made by the Pennsylvania Economy League. Lansford Chief Joseph Delpero and Summit Hill Chief Joseph Stawiarski agree that a combined police force would be an improvement to the efficiency of the valley's law enforcement. Joseph Tout, the chief of the Nesquehoning Police Department, does not want to be part of a "Panther Valley Police Department."
