Four trucks stolen, then recovered

Four trucks were stolen from a Pepsi plant in Schuylkill County last Friday night but were later recovered in New Jersey.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the four trucks were stolen from the Pepsi facility at 85 Keystoker Lane, in North Manheim Township, sometime between 10 and 11 p.m. Troopers said an employee reported to work at 4 a.m. Saturday and discovered the trucks missing. The four trucks were described as being two 2001 International white in color; a 2000 Xtra lease trailmobile trailer and a 2005 International white in color. All were loaded with merchandise, troopers said.When recovered in New Jersey all the merchandise appears to be still on the trucks. Troopers said a pad lock on a rear gate was found cut to gain entry to the property. The keys for the trucks were reported inside the building at the site.
