Carbon Co. Salary Board establishes salaries for 2012

On Tuesday, during the annual meeting of the Carbon County Salary Board, the following positions and salaries were set under the jurisdiction of the board of commissioners at the Carbon County Courthouse complex. The new rates represent a 3 percent increase in salaries.

Positions and salaries are effective Jan. 1, 2012, unless otherwise noted.

Animal Shelter

• Set the position of one county animal warden at $11.46 per hour;

• Set the position of three part-time K-9 officers* at $8.56 per hour.

Archives Department

• Set the position of one archivist/records manager at $15.09 per hour;

• Set the position of one summer clerk* at $8 per hour.

Area Agency on Aging

• Set the position of one administrator at $48,340.50 per year;

• Set the position of one aging care manager supervisor II at $43,465.50 per year;

• Set the position of one community health nurse I at $18.51 per hour;

• Set the position of one senior center services director at $35,431.50 per year;

• Set the position of one aging care manager III at $17.30 per hour;

• Set the position of one aging care manager II at $16.65 per hour;

• Set the position of two aging care managers II at $15.69 per hour;

• Set the position of one aging care manager II at $14.79 per hour;
