$14,000 in jewelry stolen in Monroe

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating the theft of jewelry valued at $14,000.

The victim is Brian O'Connor of Effort.

The incident happened between midnight, Dec. 1, and 9 p.m., Dec. 23 at Ski Hi Terrace, Chestnuthill Township.

Police said someone stole a gold coin pendant, which was attached to a gold chain and a gold watch, before fleeing the scene undetected.
