The engagement of Erica Marie Redline of Jim Thorpe to Brad Howard Jones of State College has been announced by her parents, Wilmer and Donna Redline of Jim Thorpe.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School.She earned a bachelor of science degree in materials science and engineering from The Pennsylvania State University in 2006, and received her Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2011.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Dr. John and Dr. Veronica Jones of State College. He is a 2002 graduate of Williamsport High School.He earned a bachelor of science degree in materials science and engineering and a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from The Pennsylvania State University in 2006.He also received his Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2011.They are both currently employed by the E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company in Wilmington, Del.A fall 2012 wedding is planned.
