A McAdoo property order was found in contempt of court and given 30 days to comply with the court order to connect with the new sewer line installed by the McAdoo Sewer Authority.

Wayne C. Kapish, of 411 S. Kennedy Drive, who owns properties at 307 and 311 E. Blaine St., was held in contempt by Judge Charles M. Miller after a hearing Tuesday in the county court for failing to comply with a court orders dated Dec. 2, 2009, Sept. 2, 2010, Jan. 25, 2011, and June 28, 2011. He was given 30 days to connect his properties to the McAdoo line and to pay $150 to sewer authority.

Kapish was one of a multiple number of defendants against whom the authority filed suit in equity on April 11, 2008, for failing to connect their properties to the borough's newly installed sanitary sewer line as mandated by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
