A son, Owen Richard Novy, was born to Theresa Hausman and Jared Novy of Jim Thorpe at 11:02 p.m., Jan. 29, 2012, at St. Luke's Allentown.

He weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces, and measured 19 1/2 inches long.He was welcomed home by his big sister, Olivia Rose, who is 2 1/2 years old.Maternal grandparents are Tim and Peggy Hausman of Jim Thorpe and Frances Heckman of Coaldale.Paternal grandparents are Lillian Novy of Jim Thorpe and Tom and Suzanne Novy of Lancaster.
