WMGH collects 1,300 pounds of can tab donations

Since 2005, WMGH/WLSH radio station staff and community groups have worked together to collect over 1,300 pounds of can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). The RMHC program provides a "home-away-from-home" for families so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little or no cost. Radio station manager Bill Lakatas stated that they couldn't have raised so many can tabs without the support of local community groups, organizations,companies and schools. He added, "We live in a very generous area."
