Published February 17. 2012 05:01PM

A Lehigh County teen was killed in a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 7:09 p.m. on Thursday. State police at Fogelsville said the accident occurred in the area of 6477 Palm Road, in Lower Milford Township.

Troopers said Benjamin Michael Albro, 17, of Zionsville, was driving a 2000 BMW Z3 convertible westbound when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle went into the eastbound lane and onto the south berm. The car began to rotate in a counter-clockwise direction with the passenger side striking a tree. Upon impact with the tree the car rolled over onto its roof. The car continued into a field where it came to rest.

Albro was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.
