Two facing DUI charges in Monroe

Two drivers are facing driving under the influence (DUI) charges in Monroe County following separate incidents.

State police at Lehighton said Scott R. Branley, 26, of East Stroudsburg, was stopped for a vehicle code violation about 11:38 p.m. on Feb. 6 along Burger Hollow Road in Polk Township. He was found to be under the influence and admitted to having a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle. He was charged with DUI and possession, troopers said.

William Eugene Meszaros, 68, of Kresgeville, was stopped for a traffic violation about 5:26 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, along SR543 near Dotters Corner, in Polk Township. He was found to be under the influence and arrested for DUI.
